Joe Kinnear infamous rant on the journalist last Thursday is "THE" ultra- thumbs up, in my opinion, and it certainly shows in the squad.
The interim gaffer's rant has taken the pressure off the players and the magpies has been performing one of the best comebacks so far this season.
The newcastle team who went from 2 goals down to draw 2-2 at Goodison Park last Sunday ( a coverage which I failed to cover during the busy time s of a week or so :P ), is a great sign of relieve and character to the squad.
The squad look a bit better by counter attacking and not afraid to move forward.
Even unpopular striker Shola Ameobi had a good day out, showing the glimpse of what he used to be under Glenn Roeder.
It's good now as the international break settles in and although I was quite dissapoint to hear the headlines that Micheal Owen is omitted from the England squad but it is a good sign as he will be fit against Man City without the Toon Army to worry of any injury to come out of the star player.
Joe Kinnear has ceratinly shaped the Magpies and definately I am one that is looking forward to the Monday's game against Man City.
Howay The Lads.
