Skipper Owen To Lead Players Revolt

Our skipper Micheal Owen has been understood leading a dressing room revolt against the board. This is due to the confusion surrounding Kevin Keegan's position at the club.

The gaffer is a popular figure amongst the players, the dressing room staff and fans.

This confusion has led everyone, including the players, asking questions to what is going on with the club.

Kevin Keegan did not turn up for training at Benton for 3 days now, understandably sorting up his future with the club.

The dressing room is said to be in a gloom and angry mood with the board and we can understand why.

The sooner the board sort out this mess the better.

We don't want to loose players like Owen in the future and he already stated he is happy on Tyneside. We await developments ........

Kevin Issue Ultamium

Showdown talks between Kevin Keegan and the board continued today at an unknown location in Manchester to resolve the current crisis that is being plaguing the club recently.

It is understood from an insider that Kevin issued an ultimatum to board; either Wise and Jimenez goes or else.

A strong one by the gaffer who is facing one of the difficult weeks of his life as a manager.

Whether or not Kevin will get what he wants, is yet to be seen.

The power struggle between Kevin Keegan and the directors have gone overboard with news leaking out that every Newcastle Utd player could be bought during the last transfer window; some thing Kevin wasn't aware of at that time.

It seems logic that a manager should take control of the team affairs, he's the one who field them every match day and keep them shape up in training.

What is happening now is that there are dealings behind the back of Kevin's (ins and outs) and Kevin job is reduced to a mere coaching role; something which is simply unheard of.

The situation now is getting worse, clubs hiring Technical directors will end up managers getting the sack or leave. Alan Curbishley is one fine example as he left West Ham due to a behind the scene politics.

For the love of the game, owners or chairman or directors should give the manager power to build his team ...... I'm not saying on behalf of our club but as a whole. You don't see Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger or Rafael Benitez getting their powers taken .... don't you.

As fans we want this issue to be settle fast, it's no use having Newcastle Utd on the press for the wrong reasons.

Toon Army Staged Protest

The Toon Army are the most fanatical football fans in the country , not to mentioned the world, staged a protest over the incidents that led to the dark of managerial position of Kevin Keegan.

This is not been the first and certainly not the last of protest and boycott by the Toon Army and to be fair enough the club's PR is terrible.

To be issuing a statement that 24 hours late, keeping the fans hype with questions isn't good enough.

Unlike previous chairman Chris Mort, Derek Llambias is absolutely rubbish. The managing director did less to clarify the ongoing scenes that is making Newcastle Utd, yet another laughing club of the country.

My point is, Newcastle Utd is just having to much politics behind the scene and the board is like back-stabbing one another, so to speak.

Kevin Keegan is the victim of management politics where he is in no control over the players, wages and transfers. The board is set for another meeting today and hopefully good news will come.

Kevin's Leaving ....... Unthinkable

Rumours has been pouring down Tyneside after an urgent meeting held by the board recently. Though reports has been suggesting it has nothing to do with transfer targets, I think it is more deeper than that.

King Kev has been disappointed (like we all are) with the lack of transfer activity and funds given surrounding Tyneside. As we can see clearly most of the targets the club has deal are south-american players and some some we never heard of.

I believe Kev's has got no power in getting these players and potential sources came from the executive team ; which in my opinion has deprived King Kev's of "HIS" targets.

Although the gaffer has come out speaking to the media that he is comfotable and all that, behind the scenes, we might know what actually happen.

Kevin has already stated he wanted 4 or 5 signings to come in before the transfer window closes and what did he get ...... 2 signings from an unknown potential. Kevin has defended his say to keep James Milner but unfortunately he was kinda "forced" to do otherwise.

And the future looks glum with our skipper's contract still hanging in balance, the thin squad and not to imagine the amount of injured players the club is carrying.

If Kev did actually leave, I don't blame him, but the board will be given a huge "TAXI" by the magpies faithful.

Depotivo Star Striker Close In On Deal

Xisco, the Deportivo star striker, is said to be closing in on a deal worth £5.7 million acording to reports.

Though the deal is not yet done, sources close to the club is said that they are now reaching advance talks.

That happen also last week when officials of Deportivo also mentioned that Xisco was in fact had advance talks with Aston Villa as well.

One thing for sure, this deal will definately benefit the Magpies although we had to feel sorry for the Deportivo fans.

If the deal gets through, Xisco will be joined yet again with former Deportivo team-mate Fabricio Collocini in the Newcastle's camp.

We definately hope this deal come through and fast......

The Nacho Is Here !

Reports from Valencia has claimed that their Uruguayan playmaker Ignacio "Nacho" Gonzalez has agreed to join the Magpies on a year loan.

"Nacho" has he always been known is a central midfielder will add creativity in the Newcastle team and we are expecting him to "WOW" us.

Though it has not been reported in Newcastle's official site, but Valencia Vice-President Fernando Gomez has since announced it at the Spanish press.

This deal is said to be done and more coming right up .......

Smith Merseyside Bound

Another first team player, Alan Smith, is said to have agree terms with Everton over a potential move to Merseyside.

David Moyes is a keen admirer of the former Leeds player who could be on his way pending a medical.

With so much quality in King Kev's new recruits, it will be a near impossible chance for Alan Smith to be a first team regular.

I think it's best for Smith and Newcastle to have this transfer done.

And I cannot who will be coming in to replace Smith who will be surplus to requirements at St.James Park.

Time is ticking fast ......... for the transfer and I hope we get some ins rather than more outs :)
