Zabeel Agree To Buy Magpies

Dubai property investment company, Zabeel Investments, agreed to to buy the Newcastle United for £300m according to reports.

Mike Ashley and board director members Dennis Wise and Tony Jimenez are currently in Dubai to find potential buyers after Mike Ashley bowed down to fans plea to sell the club.

Since this issue errupted there's been a lot of un-neccessary rumors flying around, but we certainly hope that this issue would finally be put to rest and stabilise the north-east club.

The owner has been in the wrong headlines of every media coverage lately and hope this agreement could put an end to the Toon misery.

Zabeel Investments, under Al Hashimi, is said to re-appoint Kevin Keegan on the deal has been brokered and if this is particular true we hope King Kev can bring the motivation and work ethic in the dressing room up.

It has been the worst performance so far last Saturday which I believe should be something that we should put off to rest.

Hope the deal could be done quickl cause we need stability back at St.James and we need new bodies come the January transfer window. Howay The Lads......

Gutrie Faces Lengthy Ban

Frustrations has boiled over the young lad and sequently the consequences will start to pour in.

Newcastle midfielder, Danny Gutrie was sent off in the 95th minute from the match against Hull City and to make things worse he had broken Hull City's Craig Fagan's leg in the match.

With the outrage of Hulll City boss Phil Brown, the FA will be considering to extend Danny's ban from the existing 3 matches.

Guthrie issued an apology yesterday and was trying to contact Fagan personally but that was being blocked by Hull staff.

And worse news also came in as Argentine winger Jonas Gutierrez will be out for 3 weeks after being injured during international duty.

Jonas has a dislocated shoulder and is having treatment in his hometown with Newcastle's permission.

Mike Ashley To Sell Newcastle Utd

If we were to read the back pages of Sunday's newpapers in England, a lot of stories about NUFC has popped out (not too surprising though).

I mean the protests and other fans reaction is one thing but what particularly grab my attention is that the owner has finally give up on Newcastle.

Whether it's true or not has yet to be seen, but I was kinda despised by the article that came out from "News Of The World" claiming that Mike Ashley was doing everything in his power to bring the club forward.

From the standpoint at the moment, hey, maybe it's true cause we did not want to be another Leeds United, cashing on high profile names and wages but to think the incident that occur this past few weeks is it really him and his actions that can bring this club forward?

The sale of up-and-coming young talent in James Milner (for example) and the issue where the entire squad put out for sale, what's happening?

Maybe, Mike do have a business plan (a long term strategy) for the club but his board of so-called directors that he entrusted to do the job is swindling the club every minute of it.

It doesn't surprised why the fans are so annoyed cause the PR is as bad as well.

We need football minded people back in the boardroom..... people like David Dein or Kevin Keegan for example cause now the mismanagement of the club is leading everyone clueless to which direction the club is heading.

News also popped out that a local based consortium and a Chinese businessman is ready to cash in on the the club if eventually Mike decided to put the club on sale.

Anyway what a week to remember for the Toon Army ... hopefully good news will come within the next few days.

Magpies Downed By Tigers

It couldn't get any worse for the Magpies as they went down 1-2 at home against Hull City who took full advantage of the off-field situation of the Tyneside club.

New boy Xisco managed to pull one back on his debut but it couldn't salvaged the despair as Marlon King King has put Hull 2-0 up by the hour.

Even the owner, Mike Ashley and directors weren't there to even witness the match; pathetic response undermining even more backlash from the fans.

Only managing director, Derek Llambias who weren't seem too interested was left alone facing the music on the directors box.

Newcastle Utd needs to solve their off-field problems fast and watching by the standards yesterday, it's quite hard to believe that they can even last the whole Premiership season !

Newcastle Utd vs Hull City (Preview)

Newcastle Utd takes on Hull CIty in a pulsating encounter today at St.James Park.

With tensions running high against owner Mike Ashley and the thought of protestors marching thru the City Square of Tyneside, today might another day to remember for Toon supporters at the north-east of England.


Newcastle Utd has gone through a horrid few weeks with Kevin Keegan's resignation, the highlight of changes and despair for the Toon Army.

WIth all the highlight reels to the ground, caretaker, Chris Hughton will take charge today together with fellow coaches Richard Money and Alan Thompson.

We expect a win to cool the air at St. James Park and we are fully supported of the players field in the line-up today.

Newcastle Utd Is Tops In Injury List

Things can't get any worse for the Magpies ... currently we are top again in the injury standings.

Being a barely thin squad, it is one of the worse thing that could happen to this club.

Gutierrez Injured In International Duty

Spiderman, Jonas Gutierrez, suffered a dislocated shoulder on his international duty match against Peru in Lima which ended 1-1.

Jonas is a revelation in the Magpies camp and his injury will means he will miss the home match game against Hull City cum this Saturday afternoon.

Newcastle has also lost left back, Jose Enrique, due to a hamstring injury he picked up against Arsenal which means he will be out in a couple of weeks.

Caretaker coach, Chris Hughton has reveled that the Magpies squad are focused in performing their duties this Saturday and though the past week has been unsettling for them, the squad has behave professionally and perform their training diligently.

It should be an interesting encounter with news that owner Mike Ashley and executive director Dennis Wise won't be at St.James Park to watch the match.
